Our dedicated Nursing and Care teams are able to provide high standards of care and support for our residents with a terminal condition as they enter into the final stages of life and require palliative care.
We work with GP’s and health care professions (Macmillan nurses and other specialist teams) to provide medical/nursing support and guidance to ensure the full needs of the individual and their families are met during this period.
Palliative care requires a careful, thorough monitoring of changing needs which will be achieved through effective care planning and an advance care plan, for the care of the dying in care homes.
Families will be encouraged to remain with their loved ones for as long as they wish during their support of a dying member of their family.
